One of Australia's most successful and respected Business-to-Business publishers, The Intermedia Group, has a vacancy for a professional and enthusiastic Media Sales Executive.

The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for selling advertising across a leading print publication, website and annual exhibition.

We have have an existing client base of long term advertisers that regard our products as the most effective way of reaching their target market. The products are well established and are supported by experienced editorial and exhibition staff.

You will be required to play an important part in the ongoing development of these products by maintaining and increasing the current client base through a hands-on selling role using your outstanding business development and client relationship skills.

You will be expected to achieve individual budgets by implementing strategies and creating integrated media packages tailored to the clients needs.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in advertising sales, preferably on business-to-business print media; experience in on-line or event sales would be an advantage.

The Person

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic sales professional who has at least 3 - 5 years experience in media sales.

You must be a self starter who is capable of executing your job with autonomy, and who is motivated by the opportunity to create a successful career in the media industry.

In return for your efforts, you will be compensated with a generous base salary plus superannuation and a generous commission incentive scheme.

Some travel will be required, along with attending industry functions after hours.
