The Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) program specialises in assisting Aboriginal people, people who might be experiencing homelessness and those who might require help on humanitarian grounds. The PHaMS Burleigh team is culturally diverse with some members being bilingual, some with lived experience and all having had experience in the area of dealing with cultural sensitivity. The role of Team Leader is critical in providing leadership, direction, training and support to the PHaMs Burleigh team.
