Interpoint Events present leading industry events and conferences for business audiences. Part of The Intermedia Group, Interpoint Events is one of Intermedia's fastest-growing divisions. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and organised team player to join our team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Conference Manager will be responsible for leading the Conference initiatives to ensure the educational component associated with the events meet targets and enhance the company's networks and reputation.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Managing all logistical and operational aspects of the conference from conception to delivery

Researching, developing and delivering conference programs as the educational arm to support a number of trade exhibitions

Client, venue, sponsor and speaker liaison & management
-
Financial management of conference budgets working to deliver to company target expectations

Building strong relationships with current and potential future clients and industry bodies to increase and secure new business

Managing all aspects of the Conference Secretariat and providing administrative support specifically related to the Conferences

Reporting to the Board of Directors at bi-monthly board meetings
The successful applicant will have the ability to work as part of a team to operate to a tight project plan and work closely with industry associations in building and maintaining leading conferences.
They will report to the Managing Director in a hands-on role learning the various procedures, systems and all operational aspects of managing a variety of meetings. The applicant must be self-motivated with an ability to drive their learning.

Experience in the Conference/Event industry is essential.
