WorkPac are partnered with a company that has been operating in Australia for over 45 years. With contracts secured they are going through a growth phase and are looking to hire a Design Engineer based in Brisbane.
This role is for a Design Engineer who is looking for an opportunity to learn and develop a broader range of skills, working in a design office adjacent to a large workshop and construction facility and so they will often be able to see your designs come to life. You will interact with, and guide fitters/welders where required and will work closely with the mechanical design engineering team.
You will not need to be micromanaged and can work comfortably with other people in time pressured or stressful environments. Youare able to work with minimal information at times and can pro-actively go about finding the templates and information that they'll need to get on with the work.
